Red Hill are a goofy as heck, indie folk rock outfit that have been strumming guitars and banging drums all over the Meanjin music scene since late 2022. Their debut EP “Where’s Randy?” is a collection of tunes from their first couple of years writing music together. Packed with nostalgic lyrics and finger-picked guitar riffs, the EP captures both the heartfelt and the silly energy of Red Hill’s live performance. To celebrate this release, Red Hill are hosting a delightful evening of guitar riffs and storytelling at The Bearded Lady, with support from friends Hazel Mei and Fenrir!
A note from Red Hill:
Our Son Randy has been missing since November 2023. He is a small guy made out of foam or something and he has a little face. If anyone has seen him, let us know. Red Hill’s EP has almost nothing to do with Randy, but he is with us in our hearts in everything we make, so you could also say the EP has everything to do with Randy.
