As an up-and-coming jazz pianist and lover of all things abstract, Baxter has long sought to infuse his music with sounds both wondrous and profane. This search has led him to blend a myriad of styles into his playing, bringing a wholly unique approach to the jazz idiom.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Sun Ra, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, and Thelonious Monk, Baxter has a frenetic (and plenty cheeky) approach to both improvising and composing - to say the least, you're in for quite the ride!
