The Half-Cooked Quartet is a new project that ventures into the new sound of the 60's. The band takes inspiration from the Avant-Garde musicians such as Ornette Coleman, Eric Dolphy, Sam Rivers, Albert Ayler and Thelonious Monk. The band plays a mixture of music from these musicians as well as some original compositions.
The band consists of Chris James on Alto Saxophone, Lucius Reynolds on Piano, Casey Glennen on Double Bass and Evan J. Evans on Drums.
