Stephanie Williams is a Brisbane-born vocalist, recently graduated from her studies at the Jazz Music Institute. With a voice described as sultry and expressive, she weaves together inspiration from such varied currents as Julie London, David Bowie, Anita O’Day and Lee Morgan.
Joined by some of the hottest rising musicians of Brisbane, Stephanie will be performing a selection of swinging and sizzling numbers. Expect to hear burning up-tempo swing, alluring latin and spellbinding ballads - along with one or two surprises.
