Melody Graves and the Hokum Redemption shake up the Bearded Lady's front bar with their red-hot swinging jazz and blues at their monthly residency on the fourth Sunday of the month.

2-4pm. $10 at the door (all proceeds go to the musicians).

This Brisbane-based outfit is renowned for its energetic live shows and for evoking the songs, sound and vibes of the early jazz, swing and prohibition era.

With two lead vocalists and a six-piece band in tow including washboard and trombone for extra flavour, swinging piano, guitar, and a rhythm section to boot that's always on time.
