Lady in February

We’ve had a massive December and January at Beardo, wrapping up 2018 with the 4ZZZ and Bearded Lady Jazz Christmas Party’s. January has kicked off the new year strong with headline shows with WA’s Mt. Mountain, Alphamama and Mebourne’s Crepes, just to name a few highlights!

We also hosted another headline show from Brisbane rock legends Some Jerks who are warming up for the release of a new record in March - check out their last record on Bandcamp to get excited for the return from one of our favourites within the next few months!

Looking into February, here’s just a few of the shows we’ve got coming up in the back room:

Friday 15th February - Feeding Fauna + guests

Feeding Fauna makes intimate, electronic infused downtempo songs, and for her headline show on the 15th of February she’s bringing a huge and musically diverse lineup in to the back room.

Vinnie Laduce (slow dance beats), Gooby Jim and the Goobs (psych) and aheadphonehome (indie/kraut/post rock) are all on support duties for the night. It’s just $10 on the door, and you can get prepared by checking out Feeding Fauna’s single “We Take the Corners Fast” via Bandcamp to the right and check out all the details on the Facebook event

Saturday 16th February - Tesla Cøils

If you’re into Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan or Bauhaus you’re going to want to catch Gold Coast duo Tesla Cøils when they’re launching their new single in the back room on the 16th. You can check out a live video to get a taste of what they’re all about to the left, or check out their new single here

Support on the night comes from locals electronic acts Scraps & Simi Lacroix - it’s gonna be a big one. Check out all the info on the Facebook event here

Thursday 21st February - Nick Nuisance & The Delinquents + 100

This summer two of Sydney’s most exciting live up and comers are heading up the East Coast to come through the Beardo back room. With a fresh split 7” vinyl to show for it, the last 12 months have seen Nick Nuisance & The Delinquents and 100 rise to the top of the pops quickly gaining a reputation for loud, raucous shows and stealing the spotlight on King St Crawl and the Psyched As 1000.

The limited edition split 7” (released through Good Enough) will be available on the night - but check the stream to the right to find out what they’re all about - then head to the Facebook event for all the info
